Takehiro Tomiasu: Arsenal agree £19.8m deal for Bologna defender Hector Belerin near Real Betis

Arsenal have agreed a £19.8m deal for Bologna defender Takehiro Tomiasu; A Japanese international is not expected to have a medical problem with a personal problem; Hector Belerin with Real Betis on loan with purchase option.
The 22-year-old can play at center-back and right-back and had attracted Tottenham’s interest early in the transfer window.
Tomiyasu has played 64 games for the Italian side and was substituted at the end of the 0-0 draw between Bologna and Atlanta in Serie A on Saturday.
Arsenal also want to sign Barcelona right-back Emerson Royal, but the 22-year-old prefers to join North London rivals Spurs.

The 26-year-old Arsenal player’s contract expires in the summer of 2023, and he is expected to end his decade at the Emirates.

Belerin has won three FA Cups at Arsenal after joining the club from Barcelona in 2011.
